Mercy, Tuesday was another first time for me. About 6 AM the wind started howling and the boat started rocking and rolling.  I am so glad we secured Casa Mare’ the way last evening.  It was still dark outside and it dawned on me that I had left the hook topside when I grabbed the mooring ball and was wondering if that was the clanking noise I heard coming from above.  I asked Fred if he brought to back to the cockpit but he hadn’t.  It was the only one we had so Fred quickly retrieved it.  Stasia didn’t know what to think of all that wind and noises this boat had never revealed to she and I.  She stayed pretty cuddled up with me until I got up.  She is such a good sport and I know she jumped up by me to protect me, not me protect her.  I am so glad I brought her along.  She keeps us entertained.  I have been in wind before but not like that’s that I can remember.  It was blizzard like force winds except no rain or weather.  Most of the day it was sunny but the white caps here were huge.  No dingy ride for us.   Even through sailing I have not experienced this rough.
Fred and I spent the entire day on here, in fact I don’t think anyone left their in this area.  We took advantage of the time and Fred repaired the Sump pump, he thought was broken.  The only help I could contribute was holding the flash light and being the go-fer.   FIXED!  Another thing off the to do list.  We organized his “Man Cave” (chart table) separating the tools from paper clips etc.  Now there is room for the charts, which is what the chart table is for anyway.  Now perhaps it won’t be like an Easter egg hunt looking for something in there.   He seems pretty happy it is done.  This boat doesn’t have the room for a catch all drawer like we all have at home...in every room.  We needed that down time anyway.  We are both so happy to have found each other.  Thank you Jennifer::wink:: !
Dee hailed us over the radio to make sure we were okay over here.  We talked about playing games but it was too rough  to even dink over there 50 yards away.  I read some then we watched a movie.  The wind is still howling but I am tired.  No problem sleeping tonight.
